Red reishi extract, instructions unclear
hi! Last week I bought a jar of Red Reishi extract, but I didn't find a 'good' way to use this, exist over there a few people making tea with sliced mushrooms (boiling the thing for 2 hours), others who sell another (or seems like another) kind of extract and just dissolving that extract in hot water, but I didn't found any explicit reference to this one (this powder doesn't dissolve in the water when I boil it). How is the best way to consume this? Also a bit of criticism on Mn: I think you should have a bit more of info on how to consume the powders you sell.

It depends on the exact extract you purchased.

The 1:1 extract is not as bitter as the 8:1 and 16:1 as it doesn’t contain the terpenes that these do. The terpenes give Reishi a strong bitter flavour.

Typically, mushroom extracts can be mixed in a little water and washed down that way - the taste is not likely to be very palatable so it’s advisable to consume it as quickly as possible. We will have capsules for all three reishi extracts out later this month.
