The Most Economical Nootropic Stacks in the World
By 0 Comments|
Most supplement blends are overpriced, this is the unfortunate reality of the vast majority of premade stacks.
- They are loaded with proprietary formulas that hide the true compound dosages.
- They include far too many ingredients that give the perception of a 'quality' formula.
- They include dosages far too low to be effective.
- The prices are so high, it makes more sense to purchase the ingredients individually.
The only thing they have going for them is convenience, and that's hardly a good reason to spend $90, $150 or even $200 on less than a month supply of an unproven formulation.
Especially when most companies producing supplement formulas carry only one product, which means they have no proven track record of quality or efficacy other than - usually - paid and affiliated reviews from supplement and nootropic blogs. These companies would rather spend their time marketing their product instead of developing blends that are worth the price attached to them. Hell, they don't even manufacture themselves - they are completely hands-off on the products they sell.
But is this always the case?
We've historically taken the position that formulas should not only be convenient and effective, but that economy and quality should also be guaranteed.
That means having the expertise and experience to know which are the best types of extracts to source, where to source them from, when and when not to use patented ingredients, and of course what dosages to utilize for the most effective results.
For example, some patented or branded ingredients offer no relative advantages over their 'generic' counterparts; L-Theanine and Citicoline are prime examples of this. These forms of ingredients technically perform and exhibit the same effects as any branded/patented compounds on the market. So, it's hard to provide any logical reason as to why one would not use alternatives due to the price disparity - as long as the quality is independently verified.
Bacopa Monnieri is another good example. There are many various sources of Bacopa available, and picking the right type of extract is pivotal to developing an effective formula. Additionally, many customers report that our own Bacopa extract doesn't lead to the same level of fatigue that most people experience with other Bacopa extracts. This isn't obvious if you simply take each extract at face value, which of course, we don't.
Branded compounds will often cost significantly more than their generic counterparts, largely because of the research behind those compounds. Yet, non-patented extracts can be functionally identical - or even superior if you know what to look for and why the effects may vary.
Of course, companies producing just one or two formulations don't have the experience to know this, so they get duped and then do their best to convince you of the same.
We decided to publish a comparative analysis of our formulations and buying individual compounds to make up the same blends as closely as possible.
The results weren't surprising to us, because we've done our research every step of the way - but we think that you will be surprised just how economical a carefully researched and formulated blend can be.
A Comparative Cost Analysis of Nootropic Formulas
For this comparison, we'll be comparing individual ingredients to our recently announced Total Cognition Pack.
The Total Cognition Pack contains our most popular blends and offers unrivaled flexibility of timing and dosages. We firmly believe it's ahead of its time, especially when compared to other 'complete' solutions on the market - nothing really comes close.
We'll break down each formula in the pack, and then provide a full comparison with individually purchased ingredients.

The Real Cost of the Individually Purchased Supplements
We compiled a list of all the individual ingredients within our formulas, utilizing the most cost-effective and comparable ingredients if you were to purchase each of them individually.
There are a total of 21 active compounds in the pack.
In each case, we have selected the best-priced alternatives we could find. This, of course, doesn't take into account consistency, or lack thereof, in the quality of each of the products. Furthermore, the dosages, as well as capsule quantities, will vary when purchasing this many individual supplements. This is naturally what most premade nootropic stacks with many, many ingredients rely on.
In order to match our formulations, we then repurposed the dosages and prices into the same quantities found in the Total Cognition Pack to get a better picture of the true cost, and here are the results:
|Ingredient||Total Quantity (in capsules)||Retail Price|
|Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ)||600mg||£14.02|
|R-Alpha Lipoic Acid||3,000mg||£6.37|
|Vitamin B6 (as P-5-P)||300mg||£0.98|
|Vitamin B12 (As Methylcobalamin)||3mg||£0.29|
|Bacopa Monnieri Whole Plant Extract (UV)||19,500mg / 19.5g||£19.48|
|Organic 20:1 Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract||30,000mg / 30g||£28.95|
|Panax Ginseng Root||6,000mg / 6g||£6.38|
|Rhodiola Rosea||7,500mg / 7.5g||£2.31|
|Phosphatidylserine||3,600mg / 3.6g||£7.50|
|KSM-66 Ashwagandha||9,000mg / 9 g||£4.50|
|Citicoline||6,000mg / 6g||£5.67|
|Sulbutiamine||9,000mg / 9g||£7.50|
|Guarana||12,600mg / 12.6g||£3.02|
|EGCG||8,400mg / 8.4g||£1.50|
When you add up the total comparative costs of the same dosages found in our formulas, you would end up spending £141.50, or about $166 if you don't include VAT. Of course, you can't buy most of these compounds in the dosages we've reduced in them into for this comparison, so you'd likely have to spend two or three times more.
What does the Total Cognition Pack cost for 30 servings of the same? £129.95 or $152
It is demonstrably more expensive to buy all of these supplements individually - without even factoring in convenience and quality into the equation. You actually save money by using our premade nootropic formulas.
The formulations we produce are something that even individual supplements cannot match in price, let alone any other products on the market that are even remotely comparable to the potency, profile, and flexibility of the blends found in the Total Cognition Pack. We haven't found any yet.
How is this Achieved?
There are a number of reasons why we are able to produce some of the most cost-effective and economical premade nootropic supplement stacks on the market.
Since we produce individual nootropic supplements and manufacture everything in-house, we typically don't rely on third-parties to produce our supplements.
The advantages of Mind Nutrition nootropic blends are clear:
- Manufactured in-house, so we have full control over the production process
- Made using the same independently tested ingredients that we sell in our standalone supplements
- Purpose sourced from all over the world
- Formulated to be effective
- Designed to be cost-effective and convenient
Perhaps it's time you reconsider the economy of your premade stack, and nootropic stacks in general? At the very least, get educated on how to choose effective supplement formulas.
