What is KSM-66® Organic Ashwagandha Extract Powder?
Ashwagandha is a herbal extract has been used in traditional Ayurveda for centuries for its many benefits. It is primarily the roots that are used in Ashwagandha extracts, you can learn about the different types here.
KSM-66® Ashwagandha uses the roots of the plant as the source of Ashwagandha exclusively, following the traditional principles of Ayurveda as closely as possible. This means the compound is organic and has a full-spectrum profile which contains a balance of the compounds that are naturally found in the plant itself.
The fruits, known as winter cherries, are often found in supermarkets and can be used in cooking and baking. It is important to note that the extract process of KSM-66® Ashwagandha involves milk, as with traditional Ayurveda, so the final extract contains milk allergens. Please consider this, or perhaps try a free sample, if you have any milk-related allergies. We also stock Ashwagandha root extracts that are not treated with milk during the extraction process.
