The Lemon Balm plant, scientifically known as Melissa officinalis, can be found growing all over the world. This member of the mint family is the source of lemon balm extract powder. Using a 10:1 extract ratio of water and ethanol, this extract is produced from the whole plant rather than just the leaves, making it a wonderful wide-spectrum lemon balm extract with guaranteed active compounds.
As with many botanical extracts, Lemon balm extract contains a number of useful active compounds. The most well-researched of these is known as rosmarinic acid. This lemon balm extract is standardized to contain 2% rosmarinic acid.
Our lemon balm extract is produced with an extract ratio of 10:1 using water and ethanol as the extraction solvents. Unlike our competitors, we will never conflate extraction ratios with the amount of active ingredients or the dosage. Most vendors selling 10:1 lemon balm extracts misrepresent the dosages and potency of their extracts by multiplying it by the extraction ratio. Do not let uninformed vendors mislead you with extract ratios.
Lemon balm extract powder is most commonly used for improving sleep quality in the evenings. It is also useful for daytime use to ease stress and provide a level of cognitive support by acting on acetylcholine receptors, which are responsible for facilitating acetylcholine - one of the brains most important neurotransmitters.
Lemon balm extract powder can be taken once per day at 500mg per serving. Ideally, it is best suited for evening use.

WOW! Underated? Quite possibly!
I've known about Lemon balm for a while, and even included it into an evening blend on Custom Blands. But with the other ingredients, namely Valerian root, Oatstraw & L-theanine it wasn't bad nbut I couldn't tell how each ingredient felt.
Seeing Lemon Balm on Mind Nutrition appear, I decided on the powder form. Every day I take Gingko 120 mg standardized, and citicoline 250 mg and for a few months I'm taking Liquorice too. A good splash of coffee on top.
When the Lemon Balm arrived I resisted and put it in the draw along with the TeaCrine, Dynamine and Panax Leaf extract. The next morning I thought I'd try the Lemon Balm, despite being AM and having already taken some 'uppers'. I capped 500 mg with some niacin and took it with pineapple juice and forgot about it.
Well I started feeling something DIFFERENT within an hour and there was no mistake - this Lemon Balm is a GEM! ? I'm calm and slightly relaxed but without memory stops or distraction. No thoughts eager to jump into my narrative either - actually, I'm not thinking much at all, I'm too engrossed in what I'm doing! Does that sound like a nootropic to you??
I can't wait to try this out for my social anxiety.
Thanks so much, all at Mind Nutrition! Everyone I know is gonna hear about this one!
